Avant de voir plus en détail le site de la cimenterie Chiron, voici quelques plans du second site : L’ancienne usine Vetrotex A, qui produisait de la fibre de verre , vous trouverez en suivant ce lien (http://www.chambery.fr/1606-eco-quartier-vetrotex.htm) des informations sur l’éco-quartier qui s’élèvera sur les ruines de l’usine.

J’en profite pour faire une petite dédicace à ma maman, qui m’a accompagné lors de la visite de ces deux sites, même si elle n’était pas trop rassurée !

I also want to do a little dedication to my mom, who visited these two sites with me, although she was a bit scared !

Petit aperçu des prochains articles qui présenterons 2 sites désaffectés que j’ai pu visiter à Chambéry.

Ici il s’agit de l’ancienne Cimenterie Chiron construite en 1912. Inutile de taire son nom car le site est très visible depuis la route la plus proche, ceux qui seront intéressés trouverons facilement l’entrée, attention cependant, le site est visiblement squatté et la nuit il y aura probablement des occupants. Seule une partie du site est accessible, les bâtiments principaux et les silos sont clôturés et gardés.

Here it is the former Chiron Cement factory built in 1912. No need to hide his name because the site is highly visible from the nearest road, those interested in will easily find the entrance, careful though, the site is visibly squatted and will probably be occupied at night. Only a part of the site is accessible, the main buildings and silos are closed and guarded.
